Taika waititi

Kia ora Ko Xavier ahau.

So today i will be talking about Taika waititi a famous film maker and the maker of  boy.

Taika waititi was mostly famous of the the movie boy and he was the funnest Comedian to me and also was a actor. He was raised up in Raukokore up in the (East coast of New Zealand) And then got promoted to to do a drama act at the wellington school. So then he had to move from his home town to do some other stuff in life.

Matariki

This week we were having Matariki at school. We did some of the ingredients we did the potato's and the kumara. All the other boy's went to go do the hole with whaea Toni. It was very blazing hot so i had to take off my t-shirt because the rocks were under there for a quite a long time and i just think that was a good experience for all of us thanks.

Also we did some tuna weigh in i couldn't catch one but that's OK because i got to watch everyone else tuna and they were pretty big Kyla won but most of the tuna were long fin but still that's OK because they still tried and got one.

Persuasive Writing

Today for writing I have been learning how to write a Persuasive writing and did some arguement and O.R.E.O writing with It. Then after we did a game and that game was whakaae-agree and whakahe-disaagree. The game went like this It was who came up with the most reasons I was on whakaae-agree we lost but we had some strong reasons. One of them was "Saving the animals from being endangered"
 Onother one of our learnings we did was put a jumbled oreo writing back together and It was about a beach. I worked really well with It and managed to complete It.

Narritive Blog

Kia ora whanau this week my class and I this week were writing some Narritive writing and it was so cool to do here is my Narritive or just one of my paragraphs and its very cool here we go.

"Ahh! overreacting what is going to happen to me! oh no here we go. The box is opening as soon as its opening all i see is a tremendous flash of light go into my eyes"

And yeah that was one of my paragraphs. I found writing a Narritive writing very fun one it was very interesting because your making a story. The hard part was to polish my Narritive up. The easy part was writing my Narritive writing.  I think my next step is to practice my writing everytime and work on my handwriting to be better at writing. And yeah thanks for checking out my blog bye :).

Cultural festvial

Last week the whole School was at the cultural festival to watch other schools from the Southern Bay of Islands perform. Parents came in to watch their child perform on stage for them. In the morning we did a powhiri for the whanau whanui so it will be a nice warm welcome to Kawakawa primary school. Their was a little shop selling delicious food to fundraise for Te Rau Pou manawa o Kawakawa to make it to nationals. 

Orientation on Narrative

This week we have been learning how to do a Narrative writing mainly on orientation. Here is an ex: In a small box wondering Where am i? What am i?. Then easy part is writing a orientation like the punctuation and other stuff. The hard part is to Plan out my work so i know what im doing. My next step i prety much my Hard part.
